HARA is a songwriter, producer, and engineer currently based in Phoenix. His foundation was shaped within the tight-knit music communities of Southern California, where collaboration, resourcefulness, and artists supporting one another were central to the creative process.

His path began as a drummer, moving through the full cycle of writing, recording, and touring — an experience that sharpened his instinct for how a song needs to feel, not just technically, but emotionally. That perspective naturally evolved into writing and producing songs from the ground up. After moving to Chicago in 2016, he began freelancing as an engineer, working across independent and commercial studios.

Today, he collaborates with artists — both in person and remotely — to transform raw ideas and demos into fully realized records. From early vision and arrangement to recording, production, and mixing, he brings clarity, depth, and intention to every stage — crafting music that feels honest and distinctly personal.
